Andrew Yeo received his PhD from Cornell University in 2008. He is currently an Assistant Professor of International Relations in the Department of Politics at Catholic University of America. His broad research interests focus at the intersection of international relations and comparative politics. His current research project explores the politics of overseas military bases, investigating how security alliances and political elite consensus influence anti-base movement outcomes. Other current and future research interests include East Asian security, military transformations, empires and world order, Christian missionaries in world politics, and Korean politics.
