A single nail jig was produced from the full-size rib blueprint, in which a master rib was fabricated. This rib was used to produce five more jigs. Six at a time, 42 full-length ribs and 38 nose ribs (for leading edge support ahead of the main wing spar) were produced.

Builder's notes:

For driving finishing nails into the jig board get a "nail spinner" to drive the nails with a drill. I found this to allow more accurate placement of the nails along the rib outline, and saved wear and tear on my ears and hands for the number of nails used to make the jigs. The tops of the nails were clipped after driving them to allow the finished ribs to be safely lifted out.
To keep the epoxy pooling under the joints from adhering to the surface of the jig board, use a candle to wax the outline of the rib.
This same chunk of epoxy on the underside of the joints is best removed with a small sanding disk on a Dremel™ motor tool.
Consider purchasing the ribs pre-fabricated! Cutting all the pieces for all the ribs from stock is a project in itself.
