Builder's notes:

The placement and angles of these fittings are crucial. Also critical here is drilling the bolt holes through the blocking and spar web at precise right angles to the plane of the spar web. A drill press would be easiest, but careful use of a handheld drill guide will also do the job. Aluminum bushings are installed in the holes before running the bolts through, and the tolerances here are narrow. Plan this operation out and don't drink any highly-caffeinated beverages beforehand!
