Builder's notes:

• Note the large number of clamps used to complete the rudder structure at one time. You could use fewer clamps and drag out the completion time, but why?? It would be hard to have too many clamps on hand.

• Also note the use of thin wood blocks over each joint being epoxied and clamped. This protects the surface of the structure and spreads out the clamping pressure. I cut dozens of these from the ends of 2x4's in a short time using a band saw and kept them in a box under the work table to use whenever needed. They are about 1/4" to 3/8" thick. Thinner ones break easily since the cut is across the end-grain.
