Builder's notes:

The parts of the joints that do not contact the exterior sheathing are separately gusseted. All truss member joins are corner blocked. Yes, this is very tedious, since each block has to be traced, transferred, cut, and adjusted by hand to fit each corner, but the result, when epoxied into place and fitted with a gusset plate, is very strong.
