CU Wellness Women's Meditation Circle

What We Do & Who We Are

At each meeting, we sample a taped meditation & then we discuss, over a brown bag lunch, meditations responsive to women's bodies and experiences. No RSVP or prior meditation experience is necessary to attend. Please join us!

This circle, founded in April 2005, is free and open to women in the Cornell & Ithaca community. We are a group of 80+ women and use a come-as-you-are when-you-can format so about 8 of us (new and returning members) make it to each meeting. This interfaith, multiracial circle is made up of primarily Cornell staff members, but faculty, postdocs, students, alumni, and community members do attend and are always welcome.

This group is sponsored by CU Wellness. Anneliese Truame is the volunteer coordinator of the circle, and we have several volunteer co-leaders. To sign up for the monthly e-letter, ask questions about the circle, or request disability accommodation, email Anneliese.
