Anneliese Truame
Anneliese has been the Administrative Coordinator of the Institute for Social Sciences at Cornell since August 2004. She is the founder of the Women's Meditation Circle at Cornell and has been the volunteer facilitator of this group for CU Wellness since April 2005. She struggled to learn to meditate for 15 years before developing a regular practice in 2002. Her meditation practice has been strengthened by instruction with Camille Maurine, Carolyn McManus, & Ann Kinnear-Johnson.

Anneliese has seven years of administrative experience & seven years university-level teaching experience. She has taught composition, American literature, and gender & race studies at the University of Washington, Antioch University in Seattle, Stanford University, and the Upward Bound program at North Seattle Community College. Anneliese received an A.B. in Feminist Studies and Anthropology from Stanford University (1990) and an M.A. in English from Univ. of Washington (1994).

Christa
Christa has been a member of the CU Women's Meditation Circle since 2005 and has led sessions of the group since November 2006. In 2006, she completed an 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction series, based on Jon Kabat-Zinn's program and also attended Camille Maurine's 2006 meditation retreat for women.
Liz Peck
Liz has been a member of the CU Women's Meditation Circle since 2005 and has led sessions of the group since January 2007. Liz is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator analysis and studies yoga with Gisela Conrad in Ithaca. She also attended Camille Maurine's 2006 meditation retreat for women.
Janet Snoyer
Janet has been a member of the CU Women's Meditation Circle since 2005 and has led sessions of the group since February 2007. A graduate of the three year Hidden Treasure program at Light on the Hill Retreat Center, Janet has experienced and become committed to the life enhancing and life transforming value of meditation practice. She creates her day at Cornell Monday through Friday with a meditation swim in Teagle pool. Janet also attended Camille Maurine's 2006 meditation retreat.

During 2007, Donna DeLuca taught us a meditative movement practice called "unwinding." In 2006, we hosted Renee Beck who shared SRI breathing techniques with us. Also in 2006, Pamela Goddard led us in a meditation in the Thich Nhat Hanh tradition of embodied Budhhism. In 2005, Eric Widerstrom shared some MBSR meditations with us.
