The Pre-1600 Poodle,
   The Perfect Period Pooch

Welcome to my own little passion. Some folks love coursing and greyhounds, some folks think nothing is better than a spaniel flushing game, but for me - a poodle is the most perfect canine with which to re-enact the past.

The working dog portrayed is a far cry from the coifed and pampered poodle that is seen today. Inside these pages I present my research on the poodle as it was used and portrayed in pre-1600 Europe.
