Current Events
This is my first attempt at a website and for the moment will be fairly simplistic.  As time and technical proficiency allow I intend  to expand the scope and content of the page.

Education

M.S. Natural Resources, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York  - Projected: Winter 2007

B.A. Biology, magna cum Laude,  Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin - 2003

Research Interests
My broad research interests focus primarily on the conservation, restoration and management of freshwater ecosystems.  This includes examining the factors regulating the abundance of aquatic organisms, specifically sport fish, at multiple spatial scales including lake, sub-watershed and watershed levels.

Current Research
Currently, my research efforts focus on the application of Topographic Indices (TI) within a Geographic Information System (GIS) framework in order to address the impact of groundwater flow on Brook Trout (Salvelinus fontinalis) reproduction and survival.  This research provides a criteria on which to base brook trout restoration decisions in the Adirondack's and provides a landscape sclae context on which to base future management decisions.
