Course Web SiteThe course web site is hosted on Cornell's Blackboard system (http://blackboard.cornell.edu/). It is Econ 101-2 Introductory Microeconomics (Fall 2007-Burkhauser) in the Course Catalog. You must register for the class website on the blackboard site to access all of the course materials. All announcements and assignments, including problem sets, sections, and readings, will be posted on the course web site. Clicker RegistrationClickers are available to borrow for the semester from Mann or Olin Library. We are using TurningPoint Clickers for the class, so if you have an iClicker for another class, you will still need to borrow a TurningPoint clicker from the library for the course. If you have problems, such as running out of batteries, with your clicker, please first contact your teaching assistant or other course staff. DO NOT return your clicker to the library unless you are dropping the course in which you are using it.
To ensure that you receive credit for questions you answer in class, we need to know the ID number of your clicker. Please follow the link below to register your clicker. Econ 001 is open to any student currently taking Econ 101. You may attend any and all meetings, review sessions, and office hours provided for Econ 001. You are not required to enroll in Econ 001 to use the services provided for the course. For additional information, http://www.clt.cornell.edu/campus/learn/learn.html. Econ 001 will provide additional time for discussion of concepts, additional problems, additional practice exams, additional examples for Econ 101, and suggested strategies for preparing for exams and understanding the Econ 101 course material. The "00" courses in the LSC meet weekly to clarify lecture material, provide tips for effectively learning the material, and prepare for exams. |
