I'm a second year graduate student in the Linguistics program at Cornell University. I graduated from Yale with a B.A. in Linguistics in May 2006, and decided to immediately continue with graduate study. Like many others in the field, I discovered Linguistics by mistake while switching back and forth between Math and English, Classics and Sociology. My interests to date remain many and varied, although I will probably soon be focusing my attention interface work between phonology and syntax, particularly in prosody.
I'm Italian and proud of it, although apart from my waving my hands around when I talk you might not be able to tell. Despite stereotypes, I'm not a very good cook, but I enjoy a good plate of pasta, an exciting soccer game, and of course I root for Ferrari. My favorite color is somewhere between blue and purple, and if you're interested in knowing anything more about me I suggest you look through the other sections of the website or email me directly.
