It appears that Norman Mailer has some choice words for the Bush Administration & a kick in the groin to the "white male ego." Let's see how long it takes until someone starts calling him "unpatriotic," or "anti-American," or that he's "not supporting the troops." Maybe he can get an opening slot on the summer Dixie Chicks tour...

When Tim Robbins & his partner Susan Sarandon were told not to attend a celebration of the movie "Bull Durham" at the Baseball Hall of Fame recently, due to their political affiliations & opinions, Robbins responded with an amazing speech. Go here to read the entire text, as this is one of the most well-worded things I've read in terms of what's going on in our world right now.

WOW!! I just heard from an old friend of mine that I haven't heard from in ages - Dickie Odgen. He was the drummer for one of my all-time ever favorite bands, Cold Sweat (see picture below). I originally met Dickie in Potsdam when he used to come to parties at my fraternity, Psi Phi. I always thought he was a cool guy. A few years later, Kat & I used to go see him in Cold Sweat in & around Syracuse, NY all the time. Those were great nights & I have excellent memories of every gig we were lucky enough to catch. He's out in the Oakland, CA area now, as a full-time professional musician. He's one of my favorite drummers & has been a big inspiration for me ever since I started drumming seriously (well, as seriously as I do anyway).

- Dickie Ogden - one of my all-time favorite drummers.

Heard from my best friend, Brian Hahn yesterday. He is Lord Byron, Royalty of Racing. Check him out with the rest of his racing team here. Below is his lovely solo shot. Is he not intense?

Boy, I really suck. Here it is almost May '03, & I haven't posted a single thing since December '02. But then again, who's actually reading this page anyway? In any case, I'm back now, loyal readers, if you exist.
