On August 21st, we were fortunate enough to catch Tool in concert at the OnCenter in Syracuse, NY. What an absolutely amazing show. These guys are doing something that I don't see any other mainstream bands doing these days. The focus of their shows is the music, accompanied by very eerie visuals. I was very impressed with their musicianship & how well they played. I'd see them again in a second.

Greetings & salutations loyal Soapbox fans. Didn't end up posting anything for the month of August 02. Turned out to be a fairly busy month. Started with a week long vacation in San Francisco, CA. Absolutely had to be one of the best weeks of my life. We went to many fantastic places such as Muir Woods, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Point Reyes, Stinson Beach, Berkeley, Univ. of Berkeley, Sausalito, San Jose, the San Francisco Zoo, & Lombard Street just to name some of the places. Oddly enough, we also got the chance to see Slayer live in San Jose which was an amazing show.
