Biography

I received my B.S. degree with honors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in May, 2005. I am currently pursuing my PhD degree at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

I am a member of Eta Kappa Nu and a student member of IEEE. In my spare time I play badminton and read books.

Research Interests

I am affiliated with CRISP and I am being advised by Prof. Anna Scaglione.

I am broadly interested in working on problems in communications, statistical signal processing, and information theory. I am currently working on developing communication architectures for addressing the real-time control and monitoring problem in large power networks. This research involves scalable data aggregation techniques, distributed consensus problems, and rate constrained system control.
