Modifying Your Page

After you've uploaded your files and you have a webpage on our server, you might want to modify your webpage. You can do this from your home computer, and you can also do this from any other computer with capabilities to FTP to CU People. Detailed instructions on FTP may be found at Computing at Cornell: File Transfer.

If you do not have a copy of your webpage files, start your FTP program and download the webpage files you wish to change from the server. Once your files are saved on the computer you're working on, you may modify them as you like, and when you are satisfied with the changes, upload the new version onto the server (and overwrite the old one). If you want to refresh your uploading skills, go to our Uploading Page.
